Hello beer world! My name is Robert and I just wanted to welcome you to Beer-Taster.com!
On this site you will be able to find out information on different beers such as the anatomy, proper glassware, and the proper beer to drink with your meals. There will also be a fun side to the site that will include drinking games, ask the Beer-Taster, and a beer of the month that will be voted on by you!
The main thing that I want to do with this site are beer reviews that can appeal to everyone. There is alot of people that just drink Bud-Light or Miller Light but are curious about the world of craft beer. On this site you will get a real person review for the average beer consumer.
I am starting to brew my own beers and will be providing a walkthrough with pictures throughout the process.
I look forward to this road we will travel together, the wonderful world of beer!

The Fish Guys Wild Ass Amber
* Overall 88/100
* Appearance 21/25
* Aroma 21/25
* Taste 23/25
* Finish 23/25
The Fish Guys created the fine recipe for this Amber ale but it is brewed and bottled by the O'Fallon brewery located here in O'Fallon Mo. It carries a 6% ABV and is dry hopped with Williamette English hops and then aged in oak barrels.
This fine beer pours out a hazy brown color that creates an off white head that laces the glass. The aroma is rather pleasing as it a nice balance of caramel, and hops. When tasting this beer I found it to be very well balanced between the caramel malts, and hop finish. It is actually very refreshing with a nice mouthfeel and I would consider it to have a medium body to it.
This beer is only going to be available for a limited time so if you are lucky enough to live in the St.Louis area try and track it down. I found my 6 pack at Friar Tucks on Highway K.
Cheers!
The 58th beer of the week ladies and gentlemen!
