The Fish Guys Wild Ass Amber

* Finish 23/25The Fish Guys created the fine recipe for this Amber ale but it is brewed and bottled by the O'Fallon brewery located here in O'Fallon Mo. It carries a 6% ABV and is dry hopped with Williamette English hops and then aged in oak barrels.
This fine beer pours out a hazy brown color that creates an off white head that laces the glass. The aroma is rather pleasing as it a nice balance of caramel, and hops. When tasting this beer I found it to be very well balanced between the caramel malts, and hop finish. It is actually very refreshing with a nice mouthfeel and I would consider it to have a medium body to it.
This beer is only going to be available for a limited time so if you are lucky enough to live in the St.Louis area try and track it down. I found my 6 pack at Friar Tucks on Highway K.
