Avery New World Porter

Avery New World Porter

This Porter is dry hopped and is brewed out of Boulder CO at the Avery Brewery. It is available year-round and it has a 6.7% ABV.

I found this beer to pour out a nice opaque black color that produces a brown head that laces on the glass. I found the aroma to have hints of chocolate, caramel, and some other roasted malts as well as a hint of some citrus hops. I found it to rather stand out if you will. The taste of this beer did not disappoint either as it has big taste and a full body. The chocolate, and roasted malts really show through initially and it balances very nicely with the dry, mildly bitter hop finish that is found in the nose.

Yet again Avery does not disappoint. I found this to be an above average Porter and I would recommend you to try it. I don’t think you will be upset that you did.
