Beach Bum Blonde Ale
- Overall 79/100
- Appearance 17/25
- Aroma 19/25
- Taste 21/25
- Finish 21/25
This summer seasonal is brewed by Anheuser Busch located here in my neck of the woods, St.Louis Mo. It has a modest 5.4% ABV, and is brewed with Hallertau, and Cascade dry hops.
This blonde of course pours out a golden hue with a thick head however it doesn’t lace and disappears rather quickly. The aroma is subtle with hints of spice, honey, and a bit of piney hops. The taste of this ale starts off with some sweet honey and, caramel, and pale malts. It finishes up with a slight bitter dry hop taste from those Hallertau and Cascade hops.
Overall this is actually a pretty decent beer from Anheuser. I would go and get another 6 pack of this anytime. Pick it up before winter gets here because like I said before it is a summer seasonal!
Cheers!
