Blue Moon Farmhouse Red Ale

- Finish 17/25
This summer seasonal is brewed out of Colorado by Coors Brewery and it has a 5.4% ABV.
I found this beer to pour out a nice red color that created a decent head but had minimal retention and not lacing. The aroma was nice but rather light but I did find hints of oranges, some caramel malts, and a very slight hint of Belgian yeast. When tasting this beer I found the malt to show up first while balancing well with the citrus, and oranges before finishing slightly tart and sweet. This beer does have a decent balance and a nice taste to it however I feel that it leaves you wanting more.
Overall I believe this is a slightly above average beer however I think it would be a good beer for someone trying to learn the different styles.
