Charleville Tripel Wit

- Aroma 22/25
- Taste 22/25
- Finish 22/25
This Tripel is brewed out of St. Genevieve MO at the Charleville Vineyards, and Microbrewery. It is available year-round and it has a 9% ABV. They state on the bottle that they brew this beer with coriander, and oranges.
When pouring out this beer I found it to have a nice hazy orange color however it did not produce a great amount of head but it did lace nicely on the glass. The aroma of this beer was nice however as I found it to have the oranges, and coriander stated on the bottle as well as some spicy Belgian yeast and even some sweet malt. The initial taste of this beer starts off with the oranges, and coriander found in the nose while balancing very nicely with the Belgian yeast, and alcohol that is found in the finish. It has a smooth mouthfeel as well as a medium body that I found to be very drinkable.
Overall this is a good Tripel, and I would recommend you give it a shot. I think I am going to have to make a road trip to St. Genevieve to visit the Vineyard, and Microbrew. How bout it Charleville would you like a visit from the Beer Taster?
