Coop Ale Works DNR

Coop Ale Works DNR

This Belgian Style Golden Ale is brewed by Coop Ale Works Brewery located in Oklahoma City OK. It is available year-round and it has a strong 10% ABV. I would also like to thank my friend Kevin Hogan aka Kho for bringing me this back from OKC. I had heard nothing but great things about this beer and was told this is the best from OKC so I couldn’t wait to give it a shot!

I found DNR to pour out a nice copper color that produced a nice thick slightly off white head that laced wonderfully on the glass. The aroma of this beer contained some vanilla, dark fruit, caramel and cinnamon. I found this beer to have a nice dry fruity taste to it with hints of the vanilla, and cinnamon that was found in the aroma. This beer has a fantastic balance to it, and I found that it hid the ABV in the taste rather well. This beer does have a way of sneaking up on you though if you drink it too fast, hence the name.

Overall I thought this was a fantastic beer and I can’t wait to make a trek out to visit and try some more Coop Ale brews. I would like to thank Kho again for going to the trouble of bringing this back to me, it is greatly appreciated!

Cheers!
