Fordham Route 1 Session IPA

- Taste 22/25
- Finish 21/25
This IPA is brewed by the Fordham Brewery located in Dover DE, and is brewed to be a session IPA at only 4.5% ABV.
I found this IPA to pour out a nice amber, copper color with a nice amount of head that laced on the glass with a good retention throughout. The aroma of the beer was rather piney, with some hints of what I thought to be citrus hops. The taste of the beer was light, yet flavorful which fulfills the “session” portion of the IPA. Route 1 has some nice piney hop tones from start to its slightly bitter finish, carrying a nice balance. I believe this is a very nice IPA to enjoy on a nice warm spring day, and even a hot upcoming summer day.
I was impressed with Route 1 and would suggest you give it a shot. It is available year round now through the Fordham/Old Dominion Brewery.
