Founders Centennial IPA

Founders Centennial IPA

This beer is brewed by Founders brewery located in Grand Rapids MI, and has a 7.2% ABV. Founders is slowly becoming one of my favorites and I want to thank my friends Ron, and John for introducing me to this wonderful brewery.

This beer produced a nice orange hue in the glass while making not so decent head. The aroma consisted of citrus, and floral hops with a hint of sweet malt. When tasting I got the sweet malt flavor initially that tasted a bit of caramel, then the hops kicked in producing a mildly bitter aftertaste.

This is a pretty smooth drinking beer for it being an IPA which are usually pretty bitter for the average drinker. If you are new to IPA’s I would suggest you try this one out as it is a very good beer.
