Grand Teton Bitch Creek ESB

Grand Teton Bitch Creek ESB

This “Extra Special Brown Ale” is brewed by the Grand Teton Brewery located in Victor ID. It has a 6% ABV and is available year-round. I would like to thank Julie at Grand Teton Brewing for supplying me the sample as well. Please visit their website here to check out more of their beers!

I found this beer to pour a nice light amber color with a thick light brown head that laces very nicely on the glass while enjoying. The aroma of this beer is also rather nice as I found some sweet caramel, chocolate and nutty malts, as well as some piney hops. The initial taste of this beer is rather sweet as the caramel, and nutty tones found in the nose shine bright. The finish of this beer has a slight mild bitterness to it from the piney hops.

They claim this beer to be “robust” however I found it to have a smooth great balance while still carrying a full body. I would recommend you pick this beer up as it really is a “special” brown ale.
