Grand Teton Teton Ale - The Beer Taster

Grand Teton Teton Ale

Grand Teton Teton Ale

This Amber is brewed out of Victor ID at the Grand Teton Brewery. It is available year round and has a 5% ABV.

I found this beer to pour out a nice dark amber color. It didn’t produce a great deal of head, and the head that it did produce didn’t retain, or lace the glass. The aroma hints at caramel, and bready malts that I thought was rather sweet. When tasting this beer I found it to carry a lot of the aroma over into taste buds. The sweet malty taste comes through however it does leave a bit to be desired. It finishes up with a slightly bitter hop taste but is very light.

In my opinion this is a rather typical and unspectacular Amber. There are many other that I would reach for first, however the Amber style isn’t exactly at the top of my list so it had a tall hill to climb.

Cheers!
