This fine wheat beer is brewed by the Leinenkugel brewery located in Chippewa Falls WI, and it has a moderate 4.9% ABV. This beer is available year around and in my opinion is one of the better mainstream wheat beers.
Sunset Wheat pours out a hazy golden color almost like movie theater butter in fact. This beer produces a thick creamy head that laces on the glass as well while enjoying. The aroma of this beer is rather interesting it smells like fruity pebbles. Yes the cereal it also tastes like fruity pebbles and is very smooth and refreshing. It also contains hints of oranges, bananas, and maybe even some pineapple.
Straight to the point this is an amazing summer beer, even though it is available year around. I wouldn’t and haven’t hesitated to pick up this tropical sunset of beer up even in the dead of winter.
