Michelob Amber Bock

Michelob Amber Bock

This beer is brewed out of St.Louis Mo at the Anheuser Busch Brewery. It is available year-round and it has a 5.2% ABV.

I found this beer to pour out a nice mahogany color with an off white head that disappears quickly leaving a small amount of lace on the glass. It has a sweet caramel nutty malt aroma with a hint of grassy, earthy hops. The taste of this beer is slightly watered down which is to be expected from Anheuser however the caramel and nuts found in the nose do come through. This beer does have a nice balance and a good mouthfeel.

I feel this beer would make a rather nice “session” beer due to its decent taste and light body. I don’t think it would win to many awards but it is a good beer coming out of the Anheuser Brewery. This beer is also my friend Clint’s favorite “anytime” beer and he knows what he is talking about when it comes to beer so give it a shot I don’t think you would be disappointed!
