New Belgium Skinny Dip

New Belgium Skinny Dip

This summer beer is brewed out of Fort Collins Co. at the New Belgium Brewing Co.

First impression of this beer was just ok  it had good color but the aroma left a little to be desired. The beer has a decent color to it however it didn’t produce a lot of head and there was no lace in glass. The aroma reminded me of New Belgium’s Fat Tire amber ale with a hint of citrus and lime.

The first reaction to this beer’s taste was a strong malty taste and as it sat on my tongue the beer had a hint of sour lime.  As the beer finished the lime and citrus really kicked in.  This beer is definitely unique and I enjoyed it. It had a very good balance between the malt and lime. This is another beer I would recommend on a nice warm summer day.
