Old Dominion Beach House Golden Pilsner

Old Dominion Beach House Golden Pilsner

This Summer Lager is brewed by Old Dominion Brewery located in Dover DE. It is a summer seasonal and has a 5.2 % ABV.

The Beach House pours out a nice golden color with a nice thick head that laces the glass. It also has a nice retention throughout the tasting. The aroma of the beer is somewhat light but refreshing, and pleasant. It has a nice bready malt backbone with a touch of floral hops. I found the taste of this beer to start of rather sweet with the malt showing through nicely.  The Beach House has a great balance to it as well as it finishes rather crisp, and refreshing showing off its slightly bitter hop finish.

Overall I really enjoyed this beer and think it is a great compliment to a hot summer day.  Like I have said on numerous occasions, I really wish Old Dominion would distribute near me here in St.Louis Mo. I have yet to encounter a beer from them has even been remotely average. Pick this one up if you are lucky enough to have it distributed near you.
