This fall seasonal is brewed by Samuel Adams brewery located in Boston MA, and it has a 5.7% ABV. One of my favorite seasons is fall and one of the reasons is the arrival of the various pumpkin, and Octoberfest brews. Needless to say I was rather excited when I saw that my favorite brewery Samuel Adams releases one of their own.
This pumpkin beer pours out a nice dark amber color, with a thick off white colored head. The aroma is typical to this style of beer as I found it to consist of some roasted malts, and spices such as cinnamon, and nutmeg. I would consider this a full bodied beer however it is very sweet. The front of the beer is all bready roasted malt but then it balances so well with the cinnamon, nutmeg, and spices that were found in the aroma. It is like you are drinking a pumpkin pie.
I would suggest to you to go out and pick this beer up. It is only available in the Harvest Sampler pack so get it before it is to late. You will be disappointed if you miss out!
