Samuel Adams Juniper IPA

This new winter seasonal is brewed by the Samuel Adams brewery located in Boston MA. It has a 5.8% ABV and is brewed with Juniper berries.
This beer pours out a nice looking honey color that created a decent amount of off white head that laced on the glass. The aroma of this beer contained hints of citrus, and piney hops with an undertone of some caramel malts. The taste of this beer was somewhat sweet as the caramel malt arrives first while containing a decent balance between it and the nice bitterness of the piney hops.
Overall this is a decent beer but I was hoping for a little more in the juniper berry department, hence the name. This one is also only available in the winter seasonal pack so pick it up if you want to give it a shot.
