Samuel Adams Summer Ale
- Overall: 83/100
- Appearance: 20/25
- Aroma: 20/25
- Taste: 22/25
- Finish: 21/25
Samuel Adams Summer Ale is brewed by the Boston Beer Company in Boston Ma. It is a summer seasonal and it has a 5.3%ABV.
At first glance this ale has a very cloudy gold appearance. It produces a decent amount of head that laces nicely on the glass. The aroma that the beer produces is very light and refreshing however it does have a great amount of flavor to it. I found hints of lemon, orange peel, coriander, and of course the “Grains of Paradise”. The taste of the beer at first is very crisp as it bites at the tongue and is very tangy. The finish is where you get the full taste of this beer, it is full of lemon, orange peel, and as the beer warms slightly a taste of banana becomes more prominent.
Overall one of my favorite Samuel Adams beers, I always look forward to this beer every summer. I would recommend you go out and get you a six pack this weekend and enjoy one outside with some friends!
