Schlafly Winter ESB

Schlafly Winter ESB

This beer is brewed here is St.Louis by the Schlafly brewery, it is a winter seasonal and has a 6.2% ABV.

This beer pours out a nice copper color with a creamy white head that has nice retention and laces very nicely on the glass. The aroma consists of a citrus, and piney hops as well as some spice from the rye and some subtle undertones of bready malt. When tasting this beer I initially got a nice sweet fruit taste with some bready malt undertones. I found this beer to finish with a nice bitter hoppy taste and hints of the spicy rye found in the aroma that lingers on the tongue.

I would consider this beer to have a nice medium body yet still carries a full flavor that is very inviting. The balance on this beer is impeccable as well and I would recommend you pick it up before the winter season is over.

Cheers!
