Shocktop Belgian White

Shocktop Belgian White

This Belgian White is brewed at the Anheuser Busch Brewery located in St.Louis MO. It is available year-round and has a 5.2% ABV.

I found this beer to pour a nice hazy golden color with a decent amount of head however there was no retention and minimal lacing on the glass. The aroma of the beer contained oranges, coriander, wheaty malt, as well as some other citrus tones but they were all very light. The taste of this beer has a hint of coriander, and oranges while having a decent balance with its malt backbone. The mouthfeel is also very light and it carries a crisp and refreshing finish.

Overall this isn’t a bad beer and I think it would compliment a warm day however I feel that it left me wanting more in the taste department.

Cheers!
