This Imperial IPA is a collaboration between three breweries. Stone, Bale Breaker, and one of my favorite local breweries here in St.Louis 4 Hands Brewing. When I saw this collaboration, I had to pick it up! The Sorry Not Sorry IPA has a nice 9.3% ABV, and is brewed out of Escondido CA, at the Stone Brewery.
Pouring out this beer, I found it to have a nice orange hue, that produced a nice amount of white head that laced on the glass. The aroma contained hints of peaches, and pineapple, as well as some piney hop tones. This beer has a full bodied taste that has a fantastic balance from the fruit front, to the nice bitter hoppy finish. I found the peach, and pineapple to show up very nicely at first, followed with some honey, and piney undertones. The high ABV is also well hidden in this one with just a touch of warmth in the finish.
Overall this is yet another fine IPA from the Stone brewery. I am extremely happy that 4 Hands was involved with this collaboration, to help further get their name out in the craft beer industry. They make some fantastic beers as well!!
