This Oatmeal Cream Stout is brewed out of Manhattan KS at the Tallgrass Brewery. It is available year-round and has a 5%ABV.
I found this beer to pour a nice dark brown color that produced a light brown head that laced nicely on the glass. The aroma was full of coffee, chocolate, and roasted malts. There were also hints of some earthy hops that were rather subtle but made the difference. The taste of this beer was wonderful. I found it to have a nice roasted malt taste with hints of coffee, and chocolate up front. It then balanced very well with a slight hoppy bitterness that was found in the finish. I found this beer to have a nice creamy mouthfeel, while carrying a nice medium to full body as well.
Overall this is a great beer and I would strongly suggest you give it a shot.
