Unibroue Ephemere Black Currant

Unibroue Ephemere Black Currant

This White Ale is brewed out of Chambly Canada and it has a 5.5% ABV. This beer is brewed with black currant juice, coriander, and orange peel.

I found this beer to pour out a nice light light grapefruit color almost wine like with a thick head and it laced nicely on the glass. The aroma of this beer was light however full of flavor. It had the typical Unibroue yeast in the nose however it also contained nice hints of blackberries, coriander, and the orange peel that was advertised. Tasting this beer was also a real treat as it had a nice light body but carried a nice full flavor. I found the black currant juice to overtake the beer however it wasn’t overwhelming. The finish of this beer is tart yet also not overwhelming due to the wonderful balance this beer possesses.

I really enjoyed this beer and I would recommend you pick it up before it is to late. I will be seeking it out again soon!
