This summer seasonal is brewed by the Widmer Brothers Brewery which is located in Portland OR and it has a light 4.3% ABV.
This beer poured out a nice golden color however it didn’t produce a great amount of head and did not leave lace on the glass. The aroma was rather faint however it did have some grainy malt, and some citrus tones. The taste of this beer was dominated by the malt and it carried just hints of citrus. I was hoping for the opposite so I was slightly let down. It finishes up nice and crisp with just a hint of the citrus tones found in the aroma.
Overall this is not a bad beer I was just wanting more flavor and less malt. I think it would be good for a nice hot summer day however and the price tag is reasonable ($7.99 a six pack).
