Hello beer world! My name is Robert and I just wanted to welcome you to Beer-Taster.com!
On this site you will be able to find out information on different beers such as the anatomy, proper glassware, and the proper beer to drink with your meals. There will also be a fun side to the site that will include drinking games, ask the Beer-Taster, and a beer of the month that will be voted on by you!
The main thing that I want to do with this site are beer reviews that can appeal to everyone. There is alot of people that just drink Bud-Light or Miller Light but are curious about the world of craft beer. On this site you will get a real person review for the average beer consumer.
I am starting to brew my own beers and will be providing a walkthrough with pictures throughout the process.
I look forward to this road we will travel together, the wonderful world of beer! Please drink repsonsibly!

Perennial Artesian Ales Hommel Bier
Overall 93/100
Appearance 23/25
Aroma 23/25
Taste 23/25
Finish 24/25
This Dry Hopped Belgian Pale Ale is brewed by one of my favorite local breweries here in St.Louis, Perennial Artesian Ales. It is available year-round and it has a 5.9% ABV. You can visit their site here, and I would recommend you check out the brewery as it really is nice.
I found this beer to pour a nice cloudy orange color with a thick white head that laced nicely on the glass and also had good retention. The aroma had a lot going on and was filled with Belgian yeast, as well as some earthy, and citrus hop tones. It wasn't anything overpowering yet still very nice and left me anticipating what was to come in the tasting. This beer did not disappoint as I found it to have some bready malts up front while balancing very nicely with the Belgian yeast, and the slightly bitter citrus hop finish.
I would strongly recommend you try this beer and anything else that Perennial brews. To date I have not been let down yet, and I fully intend on making it back out to the brewery soon.
Cheers!
The 113th beer of the week ladies and gentlemen!
